In politics, anything can happen, like football, however, former President Olusegun Obasanjo described his former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, as his future president.
Obasanjo said that when Abdubakar, the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party for the 2019 elections, visited him Thursday at his home in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The visit, which was still on as at press time, has in attendance the National Chairman of the PDP, Prince Uche Secondus; the Director General of the Atiku Presidential Campaign Organization, Otunba Gbenga Daniel; and Bishop of Sokoto Catholic Diocese, Rev. Father Matthew Kukah, among others in attendance.
Obasanjo said while welcoming his visitors: “Let me congratulate President to be, Atiku Abubakar.”
